| I never claimed to be a writer dummy. I'm a poster on an innocuous site. I didn't need to look that up either Mr. High Horse, which, by the way, you have fallen off of. I, among others, hope permanently. |

| Awesome! Cookie makes a great debut and it starts an old fashioned flame war right here in MTM City! I'm with David way back on the second reply...Tony Gwynn, to paraphrase Homer Simpson, has obviously "always been an obese man trapped inside a fat man's body." |

Mike- You’ll need to keep hoping. Bayside-Why would he not support me? Let's look at this logically. Today's topic has more posts and views than any in a month. It's obviously not because of Cookie's thoroughly “entertaining” post. Despite Craig's best effort to get this back "on topic," the majority of today’s activity is in response to yours truly. Naaayyyyyyy.

Phanatic, Is this a contest? I thought it was a forum for baseball. If you are interested in tallying the number of people you can irritate, maybe you should start your own post. Cookie's post WAS entertaining, and as my grandmother used to say, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Looking forward to Cookie's next post, Mrs. Matt |

| And back ON subject, Rusty Staub did get rather large as his career waned but I'm convinced it was because of his own cooking, which was top notch. My dad took me to 'Rustys" on the Upper East Side. Damn good ribs. |
