I hate to say "I told you so" about Wagner, but...
I'm not sure what makes me laugh more, Wagner's 5th blown save already or putting B Cox on the spot to come up with something tomorrow.

face it - Randolph is a moron!
He takes out pitchers who are doing fine and brings in losers to blow it.
Wagner is a loudmouth and DOES NOT pitch well when it matters.
The batters are doing their jobs, perhaps not as well as we'd like - but they're not the folks losing the games - see Randolph's lousy decisions and Wagner's lousy pitching. |

Dude, I agree with everything that you say about Wagner and what you say about getting the kid the win. But then you have to demote Wagner and not call him your closer, but whomever your closer is, under those particular circumstances you go with your closer because the team needs the win even more.
We may have to rename the Philly Phanatic the Prophetic Phanatic because he has indeed been telling us all along exactly what we were going to get with Wagner.
...but I've got to go now, I forgot my mantra. |
