| Perhaps we'll gather a crowd to come down. At least there'd be some noise in the stands. America's birthplace, Silly Fan, is debatable. Mbong-bongachusetts has more than a decent claim to that. Your ballpark may be new...but it blows! |

I don't know why these freaks have certain words blocked. That being said Silly Man, American Revolutionary War history centered in Boston, Cambridge, Lexington and Concord as well as Sillidelphia. You could throw in Saratoga, Brooklyn Heights, Ticonderoga, Andre's capture in Tappan, chaining the Hudson River, all taking place in NY. We almost lost it all in your friggin state. And remember, student of history, your favorite son was born and raised in Boston. Baseball History Lesson: Phillies are a loser franchise. One championship in 140 years. OHHHH!!!! |

Rocky was certainly not born and raised in Boston. The Declaration of Independance was signed in Philadelphia on July 4th 1776. You have a day off in less than a month because of that. How many days off do you have for the Tea Party? The most important victory in the war was the Battle of Trenton, where GW crossed the Delaware in then Taylorsville, PA (Now Washington Crossing, PA) on Christmas Eve in 1777. As far as baseball history, did you forget the A's started out in Philadelphia? So, while the Phillies may have 1 title in 140 years, I am really an original A's fan with multiple world championships. I was brown and they called me The A's Hole back then, before I turned green in the 70s. and became the Phanatic. |

As a student of the game, I am well aware of the A's beginnings in Sillidelphia. And unless your a septagenarian you're not really an Silly A's fan. perhaps you're a Kansas City A's fan where the team plopped down for 12 years in 1955 before moving to Oakland. My point is the Phillies are losers. And any historian will tell you the tide of the war changed in Saratoga. It convinced the French we were for real. |
