| We praised Omar for all of his shrewd moves last season so I guess it's time to lambaste him for assembling this pig pen. Every time the bullpen door swings open and Mota or Schoeneweis or Heilman trot out it's like a recurring nightmare. These dead-armed zombies are killing the Mets. Has anyone seen Ambiorix Burgos lately? I ask because I see Brian Bannister is now 11-7 with a 3.28 era for the Kansas City Royals. Janet, the September call-ups are only a couple of days away, hopefully Smith and some of the youngsters can help. Dude, if Pedro comes back in decent shape then we can talk about sending El Duque to the pen. For now, he's one of the few consistent starters they have and a proven playoff pitcher. |
