Always leave 'em laughing Sam!
JG...perhaps we do have a lot in common, most of my posts are after midnight (West Coast time) and under some form of influence. And I do abide Caucasians (the drink!). Cookie, I'll start putting up fliers along Sunset now...and don't be so hard on Lowe, though I would like to hear what his pick-up line was. It worked on that reporter out here. |

The New Jersey Nets' move to Brooklyn, already slowed by previous legal challenges, could be pushed back six more months after an appellate court declined to dismiss a lawsuit filed by foes of the plan, according to a report.
The Nets had been planning to move by 2010 to the Atlantic Yards arena, part of a $4 billion development project. Developer Bruce Ratner said in a statement today the opening "may" be pushed back six months in light of the latest legal challenge, according to a report on The New York Times website.
Ratner had hoped the court would dismiss the latest challenge, which seeks to stop New York state officials from using eminent domain to seize land for the development. The appellate court refused to do so, setting the stage for oral arguments in the spring. |
