| Sam, I may be wrong but I think Constanza got out from under the Koko moniker by hiring a house cleaner with the same name to work for Kruger. By the end of the episode I think everyone was calling him "Gammy." You know, maybe Knicks fans should start calling Marbury "Gammy" too. Clancy, your post was a work of art. I am serious. Though I pretty much assume any posts after midnight, with the exception of West Coast Craig, are made under the influence. At least that's been my experience. Bonus points for Clancy drinking "The Dude's" favorite libation. |

| Sam, I hate to interrupt your thread here but I have two important programming notes for everyone. First, former Mets Organist Jane Jarvis (The Queen of Melody) will be honored at St. Peter's Church this Sunday at an all night jazz revue that begins at 7pm and features dozens of great musicians, including Ms. Jarvis herself. I am trying to find out when, exactly, she will be there as this show will run well into the night. It sounds like something worth checking out, especially if you like jazz. Are you listening Rex O'Rourke? The other news is that Channel 11 in NY will be dusting off "Chiller Theater" for one night on October 25th @ 8 PM. After the spooky six-fingered hand opening, they will be showing 1955's "Tarantula." Sorry for the interruption. Back to Sam! |

Sam, nice piece - on the money about that jackass - and I don't mean Costanza. Phanatic, your team looks good but as Mitch Williams will tell you, it aint over till it's over the fence. Cookie, Lowe pitched well enough to win. Furcal doesn't make that error he's got the leadoff man out in that inning. They had to keep changing signs with runners on for some reason. Threw him off... Torre is smarter then Manuel - any Manuel. |
