Phanatic, I issued you a challenge and the best you can do is bring up some deal you made with someone else last year? What gives? This is all in the spirit of fun. I know why Yankee Joe has not responded: He struggles to string two sentences together, let alone 300 words, but you? I expected more.

Hey Grote... thanks for correcting Phreak-Nasty. I think the reason for the confusion was because Philly kinda annexes South Jersey... which is the high hair capital of the world.
So, if the Sillies go to post-- the Phanatic will brag happily. And if they don't.. the Phanatic will brag anyway about the Philly Loser 'Badge of Honor.' How convenient.
Two other important points worth noting: 1) Arena Football is neither football NOR a sport. 2) Bon Jovi is not a musician... no matter how badly you want to believe 'Wanted Dead or Alive' is a 'really cool tune.'
Not sure where YJ is but personally I'd need a few more weeks to consider taking that bet myself. With all the injuries and inconsistent pinstripe playing, my Magic 8 ball would advise to 'Try Again Later.' |

wow, ward quite a bold commitment. I need more than a few weeks before putting up my wager. If however omar can package castillo and wagner for some outfield help and joe smith is promoted to closer i am all in. I will put a great deal on the line that both the phanatic and YJ will welch on this one.

The Sounds of Silence from both Philly and the Bronx. I should have known. Dude, I completely understand your apprehension, but I felt this was the right time to make this challenge simply because the Mets season is still very much up in the air. Unfortunately, neither one of these guys has answered the call. Joe, when you find your brass coconuts feel free to chime in.

The wager should include a reading of the testimonials during an MTM segment. If you are concerned about meeting each other have the Matts tape the segments separately and if you're still embarrased to be seen you may wear a silly nose and glasses. Before you ask, no I don't not want a piece of the action, as I half stated publically my beloved Yanks are going nowhere in a hurry and are a lousy bet.

I am with A.W. in any gambling, which is illegal, no matter what. I only wish that the Matts will step in and make sure everybody is laughing.
